About Me
As the child of immigrant parents, the expectation was to become a doctor or lawyer, but I knew my path would be different. Creativity has always been at the center of my life. From a young age, I explored fashion, interior, and architectural design before focusing my studies on graphic design. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from American University and my master’s in Publications Design from the University of Baltimore. Currently, I am pursuing a certification in Project Management to expand my skill set even further.
Over the years, I’ve designed across industries, including education, technology, agency work, and publications. Yet my greatest joy comes from sewing. It’s therapeutic, my happy place, and I turn to it often for inspiration. Much like graphic design, sewing allows me to combine elements and ideas from different sources to create something unique, fresh, and meaningful.
I’ve designed in many industries including education, technology, agency and publications, but my love is sewing. I find it therapeutic. It’s my happy place and I try to sew as often as possible for inspiration. The correlation between design and sewing gives me the ability to create something different by collecting assets and elements from a variety of sources to produce a unique product. I feel a change for the better everyday.
When I’m not designing or sewing, you’ll often find me enjoying time with family and friends, experimenting with new recipes, or traveling. My favorite escape is a white sandy beach with endless blue waters, where the horizon reminds me of life’s beauty and balance.
I believe in love, family, faith, and happiness, and in savoring every moment.
